Don't let em leave! get their name and contact details

Capture the details every visitor! don’t spend all your time and money driving and diverting traffic to your website, only to let the visitor leave without a trace and never to be seen again.

Building a list of customers by using squeeze pages and opt-in boxes.

What are squeeze pages and opt-in boxes and why should you be using them?

To make the most of your marketing efforts concentrate on building a list of people who are interested in the marketplace and subject you have chosen to sell too. Doing this will make selling your products and services so much easier the revenue becomes more instant and having a good list of prospect buyers opens the door of opportunity to joint ventures and more revenue.

So what’s a Squeeze page?

A squeeze page is a single short page on a website that’s soul purpose and goal is to capture the visitors contact details. This can be just an email address, a name and email address, a name an email address and a telephone number or a name an email address, home address and telephone number.

Squeeze pages are designed to give the visitors to your website just two options, option 1. Give me your contact details. Option 2. Leave the site.

The squeeze page should have a enticing headline and an opt-in box prompting the customer to enter their contact details to find out more. You can also use a short 2 minute video or an audio accompanied by the headline and opt-in box.

See the example below of a squeeze page:

Using a squeeze page is just like walking into a room and saying “Hi does anyone here want to lose 18lb of weight and tone up in just one month” if so “just put your details here to find out more”.

The people in the room who are interested will raise their hand and say “yes I’d like to know more” and those who are not interested will do and say nothing (leave your site).

You are simply asking those who are interested to raise their hands you’re not trying to sell anything just asking “who’s interested in knowing more about this”.

Squeeze pages are excellent for building a list of prospected customer who you can build relationships with through email and sell your products to in the future.

Start using squeeze pages in your business today you’ll be amazed by the results and the number of opt-ins.

Always include an opt-in on your site.

On the homepage of this site I offer a “free tip of the week” in an attempted to capture every visitor’s name and email address.

This allows me to have regular weekly contact with the prospected customer, the customer knows my email is sent each week they expect the email “tip of the week” at the same time, on the same day each and every week.

I can offer valued content in the emails, tell the customer more about this site and our community and I can announce my new products to the customers receiving the tip of the week.

The opt-in box

The opt-in box is an Auto responder when you sign up to my tip of the week you are automatically sent an email I have preloaded into my auto responder. The auto responder I use allows you to put these little sign up boxes all over the internet on any of your web pages.

In the auto responder you create emails that you want to be automatically sent when a customer signs up, you can create as many opt-in boxes as you want with customized emails for each of your target markets and even set more emails to be sent 1 - 2 - 3 days after the customer signed up.

The Auto responder I use is Aweber their service is easy to use and learn, everything is step-by-step, they have full training, free webinar’s and a blog to learn how to optimize and increase your opt-ins.
