The easiest and quickest way to build a professional looking website / webpage, without needing any technical or coding experience!

Don’t know HTML? CSS?, that’s fine you can still build a pro looking website or webpage using this free software Click Here for more Details…

If you’re looking to get your own website or webpage live on the internet the fist thing you’re going to need is a domain name.

The domain name is the url or the name of your new site (your website address) when choosing a domain name I recommend using tools such as Nameboy and the Domain Name Suggestion Tool. Just type in the words or topic of your new website into the suggestion box and you’ll get back a list of good domains related to the topic, and many of these are available for registering.

Now you’ve found a good domain name go to GoDaddy.com and register the domain name. You’ll need to create an account (if you don’t already have one), accounts are free to create and you can even pay for your new domain name via Paypal at GoDaddy.

Next… you’re going to need hosting, a host will keep your new website live on the Internet, I recommend using Hostgator.com and signing up to their “baby” package (9 dollars a month, cancel anytime). With the baby package you can host an unlimited number of domain names (unlimited websites) for just 9 dollars a month. Note: you can still use this service even if your in the UK, Australia or the rest of the world.

Once you’re signed up to hostgator’s baby plan, you’ll get a DNS number in your welcome email, the number will be 2 letters 3 numbers, dot and the word hostgator.com.

Go back to Godaddy.com login to your account, check the box next to your new domain name and select Domain name servers from the top menu, then paste in your hostgator DNS numbers (there’s two to change).

Now… in your browser type in your new website address followed by (/cpanel) “you’ll see a security box pop up” enter your hostgator user name and password and login.

In the control panel, scroll down to  (software / services) and click the blue smiley face named (Fantasico  De Luxe).

In the Fantasico  De Luxe section you’ll see a list of software on the left hand side that’s all free to use, software for Blogs, content management systems, eCommerce, classified ads, customer relations, discussion boards and more.

Any of this software can be installed onto your new domain name by just “2 clicks of a button”, if it’s a blog you want install Wordpress, if it’s a large content rich site your aiming for use Joomla. Both are free and easy to use, both come with their own control panels and require no coding or designing.

To design your website simply search through the hundreds of free professional themes, choose the one you like, save the theme to your pc, login to your joomla or wordpress control panel, select install, then browse, find the new theme you’ve just saved on your pc, click upload, then install. Done! You’ll have a professional looking website.

To add content to your site simply select “add new article” in your control panel and start typing, then hit save and publish for you new article to show up live on the front end of your site.

Both Wordpress and Joomla have tons of free themes / designs to use, they also have tons of free extensions.

Using Joomla for example: want a shop / online store on your site then simply download a free extension and click install and you’ll have a shop! It really is so easy.

You’ll find hundreds of extensions for both Joomla and Wordpress, including adding a forum, videos, a store, maps, images, newsletters and much more.

See Joomla.org and Wordpress.org for more details.
